Yoga and Ayurveda are two of the world’s most ancient wisdom sciences.   While Yoga is concerned with continually purifying the body in order to finally achieve true union of mind, body and spirit, Ayurveda’s primary purpose is to allow the body and mind to be strong and healthy so that this “vehicle” that we inhabit i.e. our body, can sustain our spiritual quest.

“To study Yoga without an understanding of Ayurveda is like learning how to read without learning how to write,” says Insiya.  

“They are uniquely complementary and when as students of Yoga or as teachers, we start to delve deeper into Ayurveda, we begin to open up to an understanding that nourishes us from the roots and bones and deep tissues of our body, allowing us to truly thrive, bloom and fulfill our life mission.”
