I was privileged to be at the Vancouver Peace Summit yesterday and even got to shake hands and say hello to the Dalai Lama.
This is the century for women, says the great spiritual leader, exhorting women to take a leading role in shaping society and global issues.
He also had time to stop and sample a chocolate chip cookie after lunch “I’ve had no dessert” he smiled. Even the enlightened have a sweet tooth sometimes.
